Nellite (Lionskin) Donut Pendant 40 mm
Nellite is an interesting stone: an intermediary step between pietersite and tiger eye. It has the blue color so famous to pietersite, but also the golden colors of tiger eye. It's more silicified than high-quality pietersite or tiger eye, so the pieces are stable. Most of the pieces are to some degree translucent, and most show a shimmer, more similar to that of pietersite than the famous shimmer of tiger eye. They make easy, unique jewelry!
Size: 40 mm / 1 5/8 inches. Center hole about 8 mm / 1/4 to 3/8 inches wide.
